What happened to Krylon paint..?
In the past....30 plus years ago or so.....one of the best paint we found for detailing, engine compartment or chassis, was a combination of Krylon 6313 or 6311, but they don't seem to be around any longer. One of the paints was a "Semi Flat" and the other was a "Semi Gloss" as I remember. I've seen places like Eastwood have paints for the chassis and such, but I'd like to find if the old "tried and true" paints of the past are still around. I've tried a few auto stores and home improvement stores, but those numbers don't seem to be available. What types of aerosols, and from where, are people using if the Krylon is no longer sold?

New formula Krylon is available off the shelf. Old formula Krylon (5-Ball) is now considered an industrial coating and available through industrial coating outlets.

John Deere "Blitz Black". Same sheen as stock semi-flat black; big can with more paint; better spray quality; more durable than Krylon; readily available at all J-D supply stores or on-line.
