Pretty tough to advise without wheel widths.

I think 18/19 look the best ??? I went with 245/40/18 and 295/35/19

my combo, lowered on no bolts
275 30 19
305 25 20 on a 12" wide rim, basically anything wider would rub

I will be going to 345 rear and flared fenders

I favor the 18/19 look as well. I went with 18x9.5 fronts and 19x12 rears running 275x35x18 and 325x30x19.

He said he already bought wheels. Congrats to those who keep telling him how great 18/19's are.

Loved the 19/20 setup on our old Z.

It amazing how many people do not know how to read.
People are so eager to tell this guy what they have without regard to the fact that the topic already said he went from 17/18 and bought 19/20.
He said came here asking for suggestions on tire sizes with his "NEW" 19/20 setup...

This forum is becoming entertaining more so than its ability to actually help people.

And here I am, wanting to get rid of my rear 20s and get back to a stock 17/18 setup (although 18/19 would be okay, too).

Its nice to see that some people still have the ability to recognize that Everything is a trade off. Getting rid of those 20's and those rubber band tires, is a step in the right direction, when it comes to overall satisfaction. There are not too many credible reasons to go with 20's. Some people may like the look
i
but " the trade off " is the severely increased potential to bend a wheel, much harsher ride without the ability to have enough side wall to absorb typical road conditions. The inability to have the tires create potential energy. Lack of the ability to hook the HP to the ground.

I see only one person replied to you with any relevant information regarding your question. Allow me to help. I don't know what width your new wheels are, but assuming the fronts are between 8.5-9.5" wide, I highly recommend a 265/30R19 tire. Assuming the rear wheels are between 10-11" wide, I highly recommend a 305/25R20 tire. If you do end up running the 305mm rear tire, don't run a 275mm front tire, as the sidewall height will be taller in front than in the rear, and that just looks ridiculous. When staggering the front-to-rear tire aspect ratios (30 series in front, 25 series in rear), you need at least a 40-50mm increase in the width of the rear tires versus the front tires to keep the sidewall heights even (265mm front, 305mm rear as an example).

Here was my car with 19/20" Pirellis. 275/30 front, 305/25 rear. If you look closely, the front sidewalls are taller than the rears. Bought the car like that:

Here was my car with new 19/20" Nittos. 265/30 front, 305/25 rear. Sidewalls are almost the same height. If a 315/25 was available, it would have been a perfect stagger and equal sidewall heights:

PM me if you have any questions, and to avoid any discussion in this thread regarding things other than what you are asking about. Cheers.

I agree with fyrarms. I used exactly the same sizes he mentioned. 262/30/19 and 305/25/20. I went with Hankook.

Then yesterday a taxi cut me off here in Korea so i need some curb rash repair come Monday.

I also need to lower my car. I have a set of Viking coilovers just waiting to be installed.

There's a 1/8 sidewall difference between the 265 and 275, and personally doesn't bother me
