Default Rear strut rod bushing caps

Hello I would like to know if the bushing caps are only required on the rear strut rods mount at the diff or both ends on a 1971 ? aim shows that there are caps at the strut bracket just checking before ordering parts . thanks in advance

I'm pretty sure they are only required at the bracket end toward the center of the car, not at the outboard ends. 4 needed for a whole car.

Hi,
The 71 AIM indicates the 'caps' are used at the mount bracket at the differential, not at the shock absorber mount shaft.
I'm not sure how typical this is for other years.
Regards,
Alan
