Default 1966 corvette big block hood for sale

I have an original GM Big Block hood painted in Nassau Blue for sale. This hood was on my 1965 Corvette small block when I bough it. I have since reinstalled the correct small block hood so I am ready to let this hood go. The hood is in very nice condition. Please feel free to PM me and I will give you my phone number. $1,200

My favorite style for big blocks. Mine came with two hoods. Ones for hanging on the wall I guess. Good luck with your sale.

I agree, need to see underside to confirm an original hood. He said its off his 65 so the support will be on the right side.

That's why we need to see the bottom side ... an over-the-counter replacement will have holes in the support frame on the left side. And a reinforcement plate riveted on the left side for a 66 support mount.

my buddy has a over the counter replacement hood on his car. it has the prop rod mounts on both sides, and holes on the underside for the emblem. but no holes where in the top for it.

Ya, exactly. You only drill the holes thru the top if putting on a 66.

The OP said it was an original GM hood, so I'm not sure if he means as delivered on a 65 L78 car, or a GM replacement hood.

Your reading a year old ad, and it states its SOLD.

Hats off to Keeks. My kind of owner. Doesn't want to pick apart the item. Looking for one and purchased it. Everything from bolts to sun visors are scrutinized beyond descriptions here.
