~What a Race...what an Experience. Criswell Chevrolet for 2016 delivered almost 1,900 new Chevrolets which qualified us as an Elite dealer. Chevrolet sent out the invite to the General Manager and General Sales Manager for this Daytona 500 experience, 5 days and 4 nights at a Hotel in Orlando plus two tickets to the 59th Annual Daytona 500. The two Managers got together and asked if I wanted to go since I delivered nearly 20% of the stores deliveries. I won twice a GM backed National Corvette Sales Contest in 2011 and '12 to go to the 24 hrs of Lemans, been asked by Mobil 1 a couple of years ago to attend 12 hrs of Sebring and drive in the Pace Car so it took me all of a New York second to say Yes about representing Criswell Chevrolet at the Elite Dealers Conference in Orlando, Florida for Daytona 500 weekend. Below are the pictures from the trip and my Daytona 500 experience. Enjoy them all. Thursday eve Chevrolet had Hélio Castroneves speak at our function and we all got to meet him and take pictures. At the Elite Dealers dinner Friday eve at the Hard Rock Cafe Jimmy Johnson gave out the awards and Luke Bryan sang for our private group for 90 minutes and then the day of the Race I met Kasey Kahne and Jamie McMurray in a question and answer meeting about 4 hours before the start of the race.

That was a lot of great pictures. Love the pictures inside and out side of track. I hope to do that event some day. The race was exciting too watch on tv must have been a blast being there. Thanks Dave

Congrats, Mike! Glad you enjoyed your time at Daytona. It was one H**L of a race. Can't remember when so many cars were taken out of a NASCAR event. Happy to see you home safe.
