Formula One - AUSTRALIA Schedule on NBC Sports Network

Well, kids, here we go again! New cars. New Rules. New management.
One less team. One less dictator. At least as many overblown egos!
This should be interesting!
NOTE: NBCSN HAS ADDED A SECOND SHOWING OF THE RACE
ON MONDAY, MARCH 27 AT NOON PACIFIC TIME
If there are changes between now and race weekend I will make them here
AND add a message about it to this thread.
1. THERE IS ONE SHOWING OF THE RACE THIS WEEKEND
2. THERE ARE TWO SHOWINGS OF QUALIFYING THIS WEEKEND
3. THERE IS ONE SHOWING OF PRACTICE 1 THIS WEEKEND
4. THERE ARE TWO SHOWINGS OF PRACTICE 2 THIS WEEKEND
5. ALL OF THE BROADCASTS ARE ON NBC SPORTSNET
The post-race show "F1 Extra" is shown immediately after the race show
whatever time that may be. NBC -schedules- "F1 Extra" to start 2 hours after
the start of the race but, in reality, it's always shown immediately after the race
regardless of the clock. The simplest way to make sure you record "F1 Extra"
is just to add enough extra time to the race broadcast recording to make sure
you get everything including any delays, and to get "F1 Extra". My standard is
to add at least three hours (!) just to make sure I cover most eventualities.
I pull this info from from my Tivo's schedule and compare things with the website
f1calendar.com. I have no guarantee that it is correct but it usually is. I also try
to double check it with the NBC Sports NET schedule.

Thanks, Z!! Can't wait to see how Merc/Ferrari/RB start beating up on each other with the new package. Funny, I haven't heard much out of Haas (got new job last fall and don't have much spare time), but I hope they come out into this new box as good as they did last year.
Have a good one,
Mike

I'm hoping that Ferrari looks as good in the races as they did in Barcelona, while I"m still rooting for Haas to be the best of the rest.

Haas is quite active on twitter if you want to keep up with them:
https://twitter.com/HaasF1Team
Red Bull is as well, as is Alonso, but he doesn't post in English so it's a bit frustrating at times lol

The only real downside I could see is that it was very clear that no one could/would follow closely. And I remember there being *zero* passing for position on the track. It was all done in the pits. Several of the team folks have been saying in the preseason that they might have to INcrease the DRS flap size in order to allow *any* passing to take place. They surely don't want Spa to become like Monaco where qualifying determines the outcome since passing is so difficult.
It *was* nice to have someone other than Hamilton on the top step (even if it was Vettel.) I would so much have preferred Bottas.
Bummer for Haas.
