Im getting worst 0 to 60 with the launch control than without it, didnt chevy used it before releasing the car, or is it only for drag strip with slicks equipped?

I can't say for sure in regards to the timing being pulled. I don't have a means to see it yet. But, most drivers can better the launch control setting without using it. There's a lot to take into account...tires, temp, mode used yada yada yada, but 0-60 and 60' times at the drag strip are better done without LC. If you have very little experience with higher horsepower cars by all means use it until you develope your driving skills.

With launch control / sport 1, I managed a 3.4 0-60 on a 55 degree day, in D, no burn out, stock MPS2 tires.

LC works as intended.

I have been tracking my manual Z06 for the last few months pretty regularly (16 runs total); also attended several AutoX (3 full events). Seeing how I am not the most seasoned in this game, I absolutely LOVE the launch control. I have Nitto Invo tires on the front and MT ET SS Drag/Street Radials on the rear. I hook every time and I am happy with consistently running 10.7's. I think now I have mastered staging and launch control, I am going to start working on just launching on my own. I will update you if my times are better or worse.

Hard to admit but, Im too worried to take mine to the track, too many videos of mustangs going into the wall sideways. I will likely do some weak road course stuff and go slow by the tire wall.

I suggest you do as I do.
Do not ride in any Mustangs, and only be the driver of a Corvette.
