Default Knee Bolster/Black over Torch Red

I need the driver side knee bolster (black over torch red). The section that holds the fog light/trunk release switch cracked at the mounting screw and clip retainer and I'd like to replace it. Thanks!

I would recommend giving Marc a shout at VetteNuts.

Thanks, but I tried them first -- no luck. I ordered the repair kit from Zip Corvettes, but it's back ordered. I'm trying several angles, so maybe something will payoff soon.

If all it did was crack, could you put the screw through a washer? That's what I did with mine.

-----------

Thanks for the suggestion. Using a washer is a good idea for the screw, but the bigger problem for me is the plastic part that the metal clip on the back of the switch snaps into. That is broken and won't hold the switch in place. I've ordered a metal backing plate that mounts over the damaged area Zip Corvettes sells, but it's back ordered. Meanwhile, I use a very tiny piece of black duct tape to hold the switch in place.
