Default American Heritage Performance is THE best!

After dropping off my mostly stock 2004 C5 Z06 at American Heritage Performance a few weeks ago, the wait began. From the moment I dropped it off, I was excited to get to the day when I was told "it's complete". I purchased the LG G5XE cam, Comp 921 valvesprings, LG Super Pro 1 3/4" headers and Koni FSD shocks and a few other supporting mods and dropped the car off along with those parts to American Heritage Performance. I had already read the countless 5 star reviews on Yelp about them and all the threads on here, and every single one had nothing but positive things to say about them and I 110% agree with everything I have read. They are awesome, a stand up company, knowledgeable and made my C5Z so much more enjoyable than it already was!

In addition to having them install all the parts above and I also had them give my stock LS6 heads their "street port program" treatment to port the heads and opted for the larger valves.

My intentions with this setup was to get to stock C6 Z06 power levels and engine performance. After all the parts were installed by AHP, they dyno tuned my new setup and the car put down 452rwhp and 431rwtq!! Kohle of AHP said it feels very similar to stock C6Z power and, while I haven't really had a chance to see what she can do yet, that makes me extremely happy since that's exactly what I wanted.

So long story short, I have definitely found the only shop I'll be taking my C5Z to. Kohle and his team are professional, meticulous and know what they are doing for sure. I got to talk to Kohle about future supporting mods suggestions (tires, clutch, etc) and just talking to him you can tell he really knows his stuff and is a pure car enthusiast. Tells you what you need and dont need and doesnt try to up sell just to make money off you.

For the few weeks they had my car, I was updated along the way and any questions were answered fully and in a timely manner. I've had really poor experiences in the past with other mechanics and auto repair/performance shops, but AHP is not like any other I have ever taken my car to- excellent customer service, excellent treatment of my car and excellent people to deal with. 5 stars all around from me.

AHP is the best corvette shop in Southern California!
he worked on my corvette and this shop will be the only shop that will work on my corvette! Chevy dealer couldn't fix some issues but AHP fixed it with no problem! They are LS genius and know top to bottom. I definitely recommend AHP to all the corvette owners!! 10 stars!! Best customer service ever

I totally agree. My experience with kohle and the gang has been great. They are by far and away the best shop I've come across. Ive had a mustang and a LS1 camaro so I've come across a good amount of performance shops. And to top it off, their 5 min away from me

Those are great numbers! Did they do the headers for you too, or were they on already? I too plan on going that same route as you (cam + stock heads worked over) and that's great. I'll pm you sometime in a month or so harryk as I would love to come check out the car if possible.

AHP is the pinnacle of what a LSX performance shop should be. Solid numbers! I had a G5X3 cam in my LS2. Really loved it.

Did you happen to see my Lemans Blue C6? They're rebuilding my LSX 454 that another shop fucked up. Should be done in another week or so

Kohle has built AHP into one of the premium LSx shops in the country - reminds me what mike Norris has done with his business over the past couple of decades through vast technical knowledge, the highest quality work and unparalleled customer service.

Kohle has done work for me and it was always done promptly and correctly and Kohle always takes the time to personally discuss options and answer any questions. Can't go wrong with AHP!

How do you get around smog? I'd love to do this but not at the hassle of deconfiguring the car every two years.
