Thanks for the feedback all. I plan on changing the Air Filter to Airraid Blue (Dry).
Not taking a chance with Oiled Filters after my past experiences with my MAF sensors getting messed up.
Don't want to dish out the $500-$600 for AFE/HallTech. I believe we just need a smoother/better flowing Intake Tube coupled with a better Air Filter within the Stock Box.

found this old thread with same search as OP.
Does anyone know if such an animal is available? It would be cool to be able to replace the factory tube only with something simple and clean like the aftermarket CAI kits have.
Not for any gains other than making me happy.

Weapon-X has one available. I have one on my car that I bought used on the forum.
This is what the Weapon-X tube looks like installed. I am running mine with a Magnuson 2300. For my installation, I added the hump hose on the airbox end to span a little bit of a gap. The angle of the throttle body was a little bit different than stock.

that looks clean. I can't tell for sure on their website if that will fit my non-supercharged Stingray where the throttle body may not be in exactly the same place. I'm going to try to call them today.

I hope that it works out for you. It's a quality piece and looks like it came that way.
