1993 turn signal lever removal
I need to take my turn signal lever out of its socket. I see posts that say just pull it out but when i apply the amount of force that seems to be just on the verge of breaking something, it doesn't budge, actually it moved a little bit but then stops.
Before I break something, I would like someone who has done this before to confirm that I just need to pull harder.
Thanks

This is where the FSM is invaluable (not breaking something). I believe they just push in but don't take that as fact. If nothing else, see what a replacement looks like, but definitely get a FSM.

Agreed. i just try to avoid owning things that just take up space for most of their lives. (I'll avoid the divorce comment that comes to mind.)
Speaking of shop manuals, I could use a blow up of the things that go on the column. I knew how they went the day I took them off but as this thing drags on, I'm not so sure what went on first.

Drifting
The stalk will just pull out. It has a short (2 to 3inch) cable that connects to a another connector that sends the Cruise Control functions down the column. The connection is inside that little box just behind the stalk.

I have no idea whether they changed anything in the steering column in those years. My best coin flip guess would be 94 is close. There's really just a ring or washer I'm not completely sure about. Posting would be much appreciated.
