Absolutely do not get chrome. Just don't. Unless you're an old old fart.

Also bro, There's no reason to get 18s and 19s unless you need new tires. Unless you need bragging rights for other guys, there's no advantage to getting larger rims. In fact, the car will ride slightly rougher, you'll go through the tires slightly faster, and I think you're gas mileage will suffer slightly. With black rims its impossible to tell the size difference, unless you're one of those people who is bothered by the space between the tire and the wheel opening...which again, its just bragging rights to impress other men.

..... not only that, the larger the rim and tire the more un-sprung weight the more hp / tq it takes to put a body in motion and the more braking it takes to stop a body in motion ( moment of inertia ). You will lose acceleration ( rwhp/rwtq ) and it will take longer for the car to stop.

But sometimes aesthetics over ride form and function, there is a reason why the Vette came with the rims / tires the engineers designed and chose.

BUT it is your car and $$$ so do what you DAMM well please

Default Chrome wheels and old farts?????

I have a 03 eb with Z06 chrome wheels which really highlight the car's color. Black would do nothing for looks-

So, here we are on this thread. At the point where chrome lovers, and those of us who no longer wear members only jackets, tube socks, and pleated pants have come to an impasse.

I guess there's only one thing left for the OP to do...check to see if you're wearing pleated pants, and you'll know what wheels to buy.

Buy what you like...

Don't fuel the chrome vs black battle, it's getting a little old...

22/24 avec SPINNERS, sans BSM's!

On a serious note, 17/18's really date the car. 18/19 is hip.
C7Z come with 19/20 OMG!
