Vibration upon braking (non ZO7)
Happens all the time ZO6 2016.Dealer said this is normal and found nothing wrong with rotors.I had a 2014 base Stingray and no vibration.

What do your rotors look like? Generally vibration is due to pad transfer/deposits on the rotors. Most of the time when people think they have warped rotors it is actually just pad buildup. You can take the rotors off and scuff them with a roloc disc (air tool) or possibly some sort of sandpaper or sos pad and see if that has an impact.

I have a 2016 non ceramic that has the same problem and have found it to be pad buildup. It usually occurs when the rotors are wet from snow, slush or rain. Brake clean help but sandpaper is the best.

...is what it isn't, most likely. People assume warped rotors especially when they feel it in the brake pedal, but it's almost always an uneven transfer of materials as others have observed above.
I don't actually know how you could warp a rotor. Obviously they get plenty hot at the track and that doesn't bother them. Maybe if you torqued one lug nut to 200lb-ft and the others to 100? No idea, doesn't matter!
It'd be easy to check for warped rotors with a dial indicator, but I've still never seen a warped one.
