59 rear soft top latch question

Default 59 rear soft top latch question
I have a 59 and my top frame does not have the wire latches on theb rear bow. I have access to some 62 wire latches. Will they function even if they are not the correct part for my car? Thanks!

I found out that they will not interchange. Anyone have a old set for sale?

Al Knoch has them, as do all of the major vendors.

How fast are you looking for them? I just ordered a brand new set for my car but they are back ordered. I want to make sure the new aftermarket ones fit before I let go of the originals.
