Don't buy any color but white
So, Manheim has redesigned their "MMR" or market report site. Don't know why or who asked them to do this, but they did.
Interestly they have add a value for color.
2016 Corvette, 3LT:
White +280
Black -70
Silver -310
Orange -30
LB Red -860
Blue -210
Gray -160
Yellow 0
Red -80
Even more intereting:
2016 Corvette Z06 3LT:
White +460
Black -50
Silver -400
Orange 0
LB Red -1200
Blue -260
Gray -190
Yellow +40
Red -70
What it shows (to me) is they indeed put a little effort and research into their values, and, agree or not will have an effect.

Presumably they are reporting how the market (already) values the colors; no reason to think their results will affect the market.

Didn't buy my 16 Vette for resale, bought Laguna Blue Vette because it was MY favorite color and I saw where LB production had ended and I was crazy about the Sterling Blue or the Admiral Blue replacements. Actually, white is not on my list.

Can't wrap my head around it....
.....my son (a car nut as well) loves white (witness his STi) but to me, it turns any car into a rapid refrigerator.......but what do I know, I owned a butterscotch '71 Gremlin!

I'd have to wonder what the sample size of each individual color listed. For example, how many used LB red C7s are out there? Is there really enough to get a solid stat?

My FIRST choice was Laguna Blue - but they quit offering it after 2016. The Admiral Blue is nice, but just did not do it for me. That left Torch Red or Arctic White. I went with the red because my daily driver is a white Altima (truly the Frigidaire of the automotive world).
I have had my Torch Red 2017 Stingray 2LT (7M, of course) for almost two months (850 miles now) and love it. No regrets so far.
A C7 in any color looks good, though, and I never "hate" on another Corvette owner for their color choice.......same as I won't hate on anyone for driving a slushbox.

white is nice....... just go to Disney World... TONS OF WHITE RENTAL CARS lol...

I really didn't like white and then I saw a vert with chrome wheels last week in Florida. I think the plate was DEB 58. The car was spotless and it was gorgeous. I'm a believer now.
I can see why silver is a little out of favor but I like it. Next C7 (8?) will be black though!
Black is the best.
