2007 seat removal

If you are referring to the seat frame with the upholstery in place it is not recommended because of the working room and the possible wiring connected to the seat back.
The easiest thing to do is remove the four hold down nuts, prop the seat up enough to pull the wiring harness connections and lift the entire seat out of the car. this will be much easier in the long run. Be careful of the sharp seat rails which can damage the sill plate trim. Use duct tape and a bath towel to protect the sill plate area from damage. Also removing of lowering the top makes things easier.
