Tape the steering wheel down when you pull the rack off.
Springs need to be installed to a specific height/pressure as dictated by the supplier.
Assembly lube, loc-tite, wd-40, goof off are all your friends for this.

Yes. If you are keeping the titanium valves, you need to reuse those.

I would say no. When i removed mine there was an orange paint mark for alignment I assume from the factory. They were not lined up from when the previous owner did his cam swap. Ran like that for 5000 miles with no issues. Because I was there I lined up the marks when I put it back on, but I do not think it is necessary.

Before this all I changed were exhaust. And body panels but this **** is easy it's just time consuming and a PITA some times. But I'm having fun while doing it. And saving me thousands of dollars and learning!

I got a question once I have the cam inside and the cover on etc and put the Harmonic balancer should I then. Installl the new lifters add the trays then put on the heads add the push rods and put on the rockers? Do I need to do anything special or can it all go in order like that. Can I put on all the rockers then go down on all them with 22lbs I also have the rockers in order when I took it off. Thanks!

That pretty much sums it up. For the rockers you can either put them all on at 22ft lbs, rotate, check torque again.
Or set cylinder 1 to tdc, tighten exhaust rockers on 1, 2, 7, 8 and intake rockers on 1, 3, 4, 5. Rotate the crank, tighten the rest.
I've done both methods. Personal preference i guess.

You should take the small extra step to rotate the crank (bumping it with the starter is fine) to ensure you aren't trying to tighten the rocker bolts against open spring pressure with the lobe of the cam on its peak.. Just common sense.

Oh and should I clean the pistons and the area where the head gasket sat if so what should I use and how thanks guys! Sorry for the questions

GM top end cleaner and rags. It's a friggin mess. Try to get the carbon off of them, and keep it from getting into the engine. A putty knife with rounded corners can help with this. No abbrasives. Make sure you run thread cleaning taps down the head bolt holes, and blow them out with air. NO WATER remaining in the holes or you will end up with a cracked block. Oil the lifters and the cam. Buy new lifter too. Trays should also be replaced. The block where the gasket rests needs to be clean of old material. Gasket remover works well for this.
