Default Love my New Tires

I put on a set of Michelin PS4S tires and I must say that these are the best tires I've ever owned. I contemplated trying the new Continental Extreme Sport but went with the PS4S and am glad I did.

When I bought my '07 in late 2013 I quickly replaced the GY's with Michelin Pilot Sports AS3's. Went from riding like a skate board to riding like a Caddy. Needless to say I am very happy with them.
Great choice on the Michelins!

What tires did you have on the car before the new Michelins? I still have my original GY's and I must say that they seem to s2ck.

I hope they make these available in Grand Sport sizes in the near future.

I have the Super Sports now and they are very good. Glad to hear Michelin keeps improving their tires. Thanks for the update!

Me too! Had the original GY RFs on it before these but all I can say after the change is WOW! Only had my baby out once since I put them on (weather in Colorado is schizo this time of year) but the improved ride AND handling was eye-watering!

I was thinking about going with the PS4S or PSS but I'm worried about winter storage in an unheated garage. Michelin has pretty strong warnings against it. Maybe I'll go with A/S 3+ instead. I hate the ride quality of the run flats!

I've yet to see anyone on this forum say anything good about the OEM GY tires. I found out on my 1200 mile drive home from the dealer, that changing out the GY's would be the first thing I did. I replaced them with over 1/2 thread remaining, that's how bad they were.
As anyone knows, they are rough riding, very noisy, and terrible in wet conditions.

Why any owner of a C6 would buy a new set of GY tires is beyond me.
There are so many threads about how they s*u*c*k* out loud, that it's just hard to comprehend staying with these tires.
Just about any other tire will be like night and day.

The A/S3+ was one of the tires i was looking at also for the all season but opted for the summer tire because Charlotte does not have much of a Winter. I was out in the rain on the highway on my way to work (Corvette is my DD) and ramping off of I485 onto I85 the grip was incredible, I scared myself a little but this is a real strong tire. Thanx Michelin.

What did you have on your car before? When I switched from the stock GY's and went to the Firestone rft's, it was a night and day difference....much better handling, a quieter and smoother ride. I have never regretted my choice of replacement tires.
