1980 Corvette bumper repair tips?
Hi, can anyone give me some tips on bumper repair for an 80 vette? I know they are polyurethane and are different from the later urethane stuff on new cars. Whats some good materials to use? Polyurethane rod and mesh maybe? It has a pretty good sized hole in the rear bumper, and some puctures in the front. The bolt holes in the bottom where the front spoiler goes are ripped too.

IMHO it's not worth your time and effort to attempt to repair 40 year old urethane. I'd be looking at replacement bumper covers.

Urethane bumper repair is possible tears and minor damage, but I don't know how well it works for repairing fairly large holes.
