2017 year production stats
Definitely
But how long after the production year closes does this information usually become public? I am always eager to see the breakdowns and it would seem to me that if they stop taking orders April 13th that those figures would be known soon thereafter.
I don't want to read anything into it but is there any reason they might not want to publish data until the calendar year is almost over as a marketing tool? Not sure it would influence buyers too much but if they wanted something that was less produced, but what if they see that one type was largely over produced... might that be a disadvantage to dealers and a bargaining chip for them?
Since this is a year of large inventory supply I was curious what you all might think. Will the numbers whenever they are released have an impact on
buyers especially if you are one of them? I'm all

Harlan usually presents the stats at the NCM Bash up to that point in the Model Year. So this year they might be close to the final numbers...
The actual final stats are always available at Corvettes at Carlisle at end of August.

Keep in mind that with the VINs there are other series that aren't included in those counts. For example the GS CE's have their own VIN series, which should add another 1,000 cars or so to the totals.
