{VA} Mar 31st Dyno tuning for LS1,2,6,7/LT1/LT4 & GM trucks with C.A.M.
Friday, March 31st
Each to their own, but........If ya don't have anything nice to say about this tuner, then please stay out of this post thank you very much
The details:
Per Jeff Creech,
He needs at least 3 cars to get a full tune for him to come up.
Yes, I can do a trip for 3 cars, I may require a deposit from each of us
As he has been burned on doing these trips and only having 1 car show up. I may be able to vouch for ya folks I know
How I do this normally is y'all pay for dyno time ($75 @ hour)
Shouldn't be more than 2 hours for any mod level (less for fewer mods) and my fees are $300 for mild mods, and $400 for blowers, turbos, big strokers, etc.
This fee includes free tuning updates you need in the future that doesn't need the dyno. Free updates * include changes such as gear swaps, pings on winter gas on cold days only, bigger TB and it won't idle well, fan temps, shift points, knocking under given circumstances, etc.
Does not include additional dyno time if required, or program replacement in the event of a dealer flash update.
Free updates are good, as long you own the car, and are not transferable. If it does need the dyno its straight dyno time at the CAM shop, and dyno time plus $50/hr for me to travel to your Dyno.
Here is Jeff’s Website http://www.carolinaautomasters.com/
The Dyno can be paid on VISA/MASTERCARD
Jeff’s tuning cost can be paid by check or cash.
We will be at the same place as last year.

I drove to his shop and had mine done. I would like to be there just to watch if it is all right with you and Jeff. I enjoy watching him do his "magic" and the way he shares his knowledge. Would it be okay to just kinda hang out in the backround?

Hey, Steve and all, if Waterside weekend works, then that's cool by me. I wanted to come up for that anyway!!
So, if we can change to that Friday, the 24th, then that works for me!! Steve can you check with Rob at Abacus, and does it meet better with other's schedules.
Also, of course it's cool to come watch and hang out!!
Also, if y'all want to do something in N.Va (or anywhere else in easy driving distance for that matter), then just like this Abacus event, we need 3 cars to tune, a friendly dyno and a date! (I don't like doing more than 4 a day, because it doesn't give us a lot of time for street tweaking after the dyno.)
So, hopefully we can do this around Waterside, that would be cool!!!!

I talked to Jeff..........and Rob this AM. The 24th is open so either works fine. We will play it by ear to see which date he can get at least 3 tunes for.

Deciding what to do myself...unsure if I have enough mods to tune the '94. Really need to tune the '89 but it hasn't been able to move

Going along with what Jeff said .. I'd rather make the drive down to see him ...sleep in the shop for a few days and sweep the shop floors for food while he adds a few more ponies to the C6
Hey lil red --- The parade was awesome!
