I'm of the ole "C3/carburated engine/do my own work/wouldn't trust a commercial mechanic to go within 100 feet of my car" breed but the local Memphis Corvette club has a webpage of recommended mechanic contacts. Might be helpful:
http://www.corvettememphis.org/repairshops.htm
Personally I wouldn't trust ANYONE in Memphis to work on a C5 or C6. Memphis is an old school low-tech muscle car town, you might find a few people that tuned a Honda or two.
That corvetteforum page that someone referenced recommended "tuners" in Knoxville! Yikes, does anyone realize how far that is away from Memphis? Mine as well recommend a mechanic in Dallas.

Tuners
Try SFS PERFORMANCE PARTS,901-324-9606, 1257 Getwell Rd. If they can't do it they might know of someone who can. They install everthing they sell and build engines and tranny's. I haven't used them but it's worth a shot.

With all due respect, just because someone has a dyno doesn't mean they can tune. Lots of people have made this mistake. It cost about the same so why not fine someone that really knows what their doing.
