Just want to make sure you have the address in Mt. Holly, and not Belmont. City Cafe used to be in Belmont but moved 2 years ago to Mt. Holly - 128 South Main Street, next to BB&T. See you then!

Got it! I drive much better than I type!
I saw I put down the wrong town shortly after I posted my reply.
See you all on Saturday

Just so you know I've added your club's website over on crossedflags.com in the weblinks section.

Hey guys, in response to the club, I received a invitation a few months back from a Generations Club member. I just recently went to the website but it was not working: www.generationscorvetteclub.com. It redirected me to some other webpages not affiliated with your club. I was/am interested in doing some cruises but not sure where to go at this point to pursue a possible membership...? Anyways, not sure if the club has disbanded since or what's going on but any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Sean Austin

Sorry to hear you're having trouble getting to our website. I haven't heard of this particular problem before, so my first guess is that there's something newly wrong in your computer (since you used to be able to visit our website).
Go into a command window/MS-DOS window (depends on what your OS calls it) and type:
ping www.generationscorvetteclub.com
and see what your computer tells you.
This may be a DNS error. There's a file named hosts (not hosts.sam or hosts.txt, but just hosts) that redirects the URL (www.generationscorvetteclub.com) to something else. Depending on your OS, it might be located in c:\windows (95, 98, ME) or c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc (2000, XP). Open it in Notepad and search for www.generationscorvetteclub.
If this URL name does not exist, type in the IP address and URL in the same format as the other entries and save the file.
If this IP address does not path to www.generationscorvetteclub.com (instead, one of the other wrong URLs you're getting), type our URL over the incorrrect entry.
The hosts file can be hijacked, for example, by adware, computer viruses, trojan horse software, and may be modified to redirect traffic from an intended destination to another site.
If none of this works, I hate to say that you might need to call your ISP for help.
good luck,
Greg, Generations webmaster
