Payback to the Officer from the Currituck County Sheriff's office
Hey Gang,
I did get in touch with Glenn back on 12/15/01. You guys remember don't you? :blueangel:
Well, below is a summary of what we talked about:
Steve & Julie Oyer wrote:
Hello Glenn,
Happy holidays to you and your family.
I am just making sure your e-mail works. As promised I have some pictures to send to you of your "Collar" back on 11/17/01@9:30 am
The group wanted to say thanks again for your kindness and taking your time to help us.
Please let me have your mailing address.
We have a little token of our appreciation we would like to send you.
Thanks again
Steve OyerYorktown VA.
Glenn responded:
Yep, the email worked.
No problem with helping you and the group. I enjoyed it, being an ex-corvette owner. It was good to see other people appreciate and enjoy cars the way they should be enjoyed.
Stop by if you and or the group get this way again.
Happy holiday season to you all.

Hello & Happy Holidays Troy,
Can I buy either a ballcap, t-shirt or something to send to the Police officer below?
He is the fellow in the attached picture.
I told the group I would talk to him , he likes to go fast too :-). Sure enough! .
What a good photo op.
We have had good luck here in the Southeast and want to show these guys we do appreciate it!
Talk to you later.
Thanks ,
Hey RG,
Can you send a t-shirt over to Steve? Gotta payback the law enforcement guys! :)
Troy
I will see if I can get Glenn to send me a picture of him with the shirt on over his uniform!
That should be
Thanks Troy & RG.:yesnod:
Nighty Night ALL..........Heheheh

Steve,
The Rat Pack gag of the year, timing is everything huh. It was a fun cruise but we were lucky that the pull was staged. Someone, okay everyone should have gotten a ticket that day. :smash: :smash:
I got a real kick when AJ looked at the speedo with a big grin and said Dad your going 108.

That was a great time and yes we should have all had a real present from the Sheriff. That should be another trip to take in the fall or late summer.

Merry Christmas All!!!
That is great Steve. If only that truck hadn't shown up we could have had a picture of Glenn doing a burnout!
As for all of us "supposedly" should have had a present from Glenn. I can neither confirm nor deny! :D :blueangel:

I don't know what you guys are talking about. I never did anything wrong that day. Except maybe laugh at those people in Shoneys. (you know the one that dropped thier forks and were looking for them!)

  Good idea Steve. Give him all the freebies you can think of. We might need a return "favor" on our next cruise through Knotts Island.
