It was on Peachtree road in the area known as Buckhead just south of the Pharr Road intersection on the right or west side going south on Peachtree.

No, unfortunately I do not. I remember Camp Chevrolet, which was on Buford Highway near the area known as Chamblee, near Peachtree-Dekalb Airport. It's gone as well.
I think the dealership that was in Roswell, GA, north of Atlanta was Benson Chevrolet. Additionally, I want to say the dealership in Marietta was called Anderson Chevrolet, but I could be wrong on that one. John Smith Chevrolet was another name I seem to recall.
If I talk to some of my old "hot rod" buddies I'll pick their brains and post back.
However, my curiosity is up, what's the purpose of your inquiry if you don't mind me asking?

I am trying to find the original owner of my 70 LT-1. The second owner bought it from a guy who bought it new and had a tire store in Atlanta. The car had 5k miles on it and was less than a year old. The car has a Central Chevrolet emblem on it. The second owner lived in Charleston and was traveling for his dads business and was calling on the tire dealer and saw the car. The second owner has not been able to give me any more info about the tire store or its owner. I thought I would try to find a list of tire stores from 70 and start first with the ones closest to the dealer. I know he could have traveled across town to a dealer but I think he may have got the car on a dealer exchange due to the fact the tank sticker has a Kentucky dealer code on it. I just thought if I was going to order a car or get the dealer to pick one up from anouther dealer I would go to the closest one. Now I know Ky to Atlanta is a long way for a dealer exchange but if he wanted a yellow LT-1 that may have been the closest one. I have since found on NCRS site reference to Timmers Chevrolet at 329 whitehall st SW and Nalley chevrolet at 2555 Stewart ave SW. I have emailed a library in Atlanta to inquire about a 1970 city directory but have not heard back. I know this is a long shot but it's about all I got. Took me several years to find the original owner of my 69 Camaro Z-10 with not much more info but I lucked out. Wish me luck. Any advise?

Unfortunately 1970 was before computer records and the Georgia DMV probably won't be able to help with any title transfers/history. I searched a bit and found thess sights:
http://govt-files.com/vin.php?search...D=117167789011

http://www.vehicleidentificationnumb...n_history.html

It may not reveal anything. I was also wondering if the National Corvette Museum could help. It may be worth a call. They may have a contact list or some archives they could draw from.

Anyway, good luck on your quest.

Central Chevrolet 2930 Peachtree Road N.W. Atlanta Georgia 30305
This was the address when I purchased a used 1964 Chevrolet Impala 2 door coupe RPO L80 409 425HP car (which I still have minus the engine) there on April 30, 1966.

my 1969 Camaro SS 396/375 was purchased by the original owner from Central Chevrolet in Atlanta. It was on the show room floor late in 69 early 70 and he got a good deal on it. It is fathom green, medium green standard interior and dark green vinyl top.

Default Central Chevrolet, Atlanta

My 1969 Camaro RS/Z28 was originally delivered through Central Chevrolet on Peachtree in Atlanta. The dealership closed in the early 70's and I'm trying to locate information and memorabilia (photos, emblems etc). Any leads would be appreciated, please PM.

Anderson building is still there. Roswell Baptist Church occupies it now. The original Days building is gone as of 2012.

Default Atlanta Chevy Dealers, 60's & 70's

There were 4 dealers at that time in Atlanta: Central Chev. on Peachtree Rd in Buckhead, John Smith on West Peachtree not far from the Varsity on North Avenue, Nally on Stewart Ave. south of downtown adjacent to the I-85 or airport connecter, and Tim Timmers , just south of downtown and just west of the junction of I-20 & I-75/85. Back in 60's Central always stocked the most Vettes, also big Chevelle and Impala SS's. You could walk entire lot, service and body shops and climb into anything in showroom or left unlocked on lot. We bought a 65 2dr Impala in June of 1965. Saw first Stingray, red on white conv. there. Also, first Chevelle, 283 SS conv. dark blue. The best was getting in Vettes in showroom and going through the gears that 4 speed.

Central Chevrolet was at 2930 Peachtree Road. If you check out the Atlanta Time Machine site, there's a lot of historical images of Atlanta, you might find something:
