*Orlando, FL Cars & Cafe "Saturday" 4/24/10*
EMs, Members, Enthusiasts and Friends,
Spring is in the air and all over our cars in the form of microscopic yellow dust . But with Spring also comes new life, cool breezes and an April edition of Cars and Café so life is good. In the spirit of the season, The Orlando Automotive Club would like to extend a special invitation to all those fans and patrons with a taste for powerful, earth shaking American Muscle coffee blend. Please also note that a few select American Muscle car owners will have the opportunity to stage their masterpiece in the Route 46 Entertainment District’s coveted courtyard so come out in force and come early to increase your chance to gain a spot on center stage!
Community Service
By now, the word about the Orlando Automotive Club’s commitment to charity is spreading but just to emphasize the point, we would like to remind everyone that :
• Recurring canned food drives & special initiatives meant to shed light on worthy causes like the natural disasters and help for needy children are a staple of the club and our Cars and Café meet. We are officially partnered with the Second Harvest Food Bank of Orlando and the majority of our collected cans contribute to the great work they do in our community.
New Sponsors
We are proud to introduce our newest sponsors!
• Mischief.tv
• Superior Towing of Orlando
These sponsors join a special group of business leaders who serve the incredibly important function of providing hundreds of dollars in raffle prizes for you, the motorsport enthusiast. However, if you have not been to one of our meets and have not experienced our raffle, you need to know that the key to winning a prize is giving back! In specific, for each can that you bring to the meet, you get one extra raffle ticket so do the math and give back!
Special Features:
• Café Motorsport has been gracious enough to provide us with some live music by local sensations, Under the Influence. The band specializes in Classic Rock, New Rock, Reggae and they do requests – so there will be something for everyone.
• Café Motorsport will also be providing patrons with a taste of their newest café blend: American Muscle!
• We are now officially partnered with Rally 4 Hope so be sure to touch base with Scott and Don at the April’s meet and check them out at the Rally 4 Hope website.
• You never know who will stop by one of our events!
Please remember that this month’s meet is on April 24th at The Route 46 Entertainment District. We look forward to seeing each of you at what promises to be an awesome automotive meet.

In addition to the monthly get-togethers (last Saturday of every month in Sanford, the Orlando Automotive Club had about a dozen cars on display at the "Taste of Oviedo" Saturday the 17th. There were a lot of people at the event, and a lot of interest in the beautiful cars on display.
However, as Ricky has posted above, next Saturday (April 24th) will be the monthly gathering in Sanford.
The location is the Route 46 Entertainment District. It's about 1/2 mile east of Interstate 4 on the north side of Hwy 46 in Sanford, which is about 1/2 way between Orlando and Daytona. Here's a link to a map of the location:

Hope to see lots of Central Florida Vettes on Saturday, April 24th.
The get-together is from 9:00 AM to about noon. It's just a get-together of folks who like cars - there's no show judging, no entry fee, no trophies, no nothing except a good time looking at nice cars and talking with others who like them!!
Oh.....there are trophies of sorts!!!
Bring cans of food and get a raffle ticket for each can of food!!!
The sponsors provide everything from shirts (yeah, I won a P-car shirt one month!!!), detailing products, to tatoos!!!!
There's a great restaurant for breakfast, and Cafe Motorsport will provide coffee at the event (they're introducing their new blend "American Muscle").
We need mo Vettes, so I'll c'ya next Saturday!!!
