With good tires, this car has an easy 1:17 at Roebling and a 1:32 at Rd Atl. It's wicked fast.

It's stock with the exception of an SLP Blackwing. If I do TT this year it will be TTA.

Finally caught up to a point that I can take in more work as needed.
I'll be heading out to try my luck in the NASA nationals championship races next week and will be back on Sept 12th
(hopefully with a couple of trophies ).

Scott, awesome job on the work you did for me! Going from stock to Bilstein Sports made a world of difference. The vette now feels solidly planted to the road and feels like it's on rails in the turns. I never should have waited until now to do the swap!

For any of you out there in middle GA needing a great Corvette mechanic, check with Scott before you go anywhere else.

Yes, but honestly if you're not doing the repair yourself it may be cheaper just to replace the seat rail itself. I'm only guessing, but by the time you add your fuel expense and a few hours labor it just may not be worth it.

That being said, I have the original seat track from my '99 FRC that also has the rocking syndrome. I could fix it and ship it to you if that would help you.

Sperkins, do you know anyone in the Warner Robins/Macon area that can powder coat some chrome rims to gloss black, with a red stripe on the outside of the lip of the rim?

Would that happen to be my 2001 Z06 in your pictures? I bought the car from a kid in Macon, who told me that he had a friend in Macon who worked on the car. He also said that he did some racing. Just curious if you were that person.

It's the same car, but I can guarantee that he never raced it. It was hardly ever driven when he owned it. I replaced the RR axle (torn boot), the steering wheel positioning sensor, and did an alignment on it. I wanted to buy that car badly, but just couldn't afford it. It's a very solid car. Please let me me know if there's anything you ever need.*
