I know that's very smart. Many of my friends have been asking me like so are you gonna get a new Vette or maybe even a Z06? And I've told them all I'm not gonna count anything out as impossible, but #1 I'm very happy with my GS now. It's making some serious power and still drives like it's new. #2 I would NEVER buy a 1st year model anything just due to all the reasons you listed. Shoot our GS only has 81,000 miles on it. It ain't even broke in good yet. In 1992 when we bought a new Suburban it had 250,000 miles on it before we ever had to touch a thing and I know these C6 Vettes are even much better than that. Miles won't hurt these cars as long as you keep up the maintenance and I do religously. Sure your gonna get some scratches and nicks from driving, but hey that's OK with me. I drive my cars. I don't get letting them just sit in the garage. Many times that will cause more harm than driving them. And besides I'm gonna be getting back on my 79 Trans Am soon, hopefully and it is gonna be making some big hp and trq. And I'm gonna get my NHRA license. I can't do that in my Vette. Too fast/quick for no roll bar and I'm not putting one in it. Now that I have it as my daily I'll go ahead and put a cage in my TA.

I am looking for a little help finding a muffler shop that will open and fix the rattle in a pair of Z06 bi mode mufflers I bought. They have been opened and modified already, but the seller isnt local. I asked a couple guys in Gastonia (Ricks and Buddys), they both said no can do.
Any recommendations in the Charlotte area?
