Madison is a good show. I can't make this one. Silly wife doesn't think a car-show is a good way to spend our Anniversary... I guess I'm going to have to get her a Vette. Or finish my 71 so she can drive it.

google 10th annual mission driven car show. its at the St. Francis in the fields church on wolf pen branch road and its your kind of show everything under the sun i went as a visitor last year and this year a participant

Hey folks,
I can't make the Horsepower Show Saturday either (granddaughters graduation). Sunday we (Kentuckiana Corvette) are going to the Back in Time Show at State and Main in New Albany. If any body wants to tag along, any Corvette is always welcome to any of our events. We will meet at the fireworks store (just down from McDonalds) at exit O at 1000. We usually allow about 15 or 20 minutes before we head out. Holler at me if you want to come along 502 417 1467 so we don't leave without you.

Well I didn't end up going to the Riverfront show. Decided not to pay $20 to stand around for 8 hours.

Gotta find something to do with my self today/night.

That is the bad part of those all day car shows. 3-4 hrs is all I need. I am involved in a family thing today.

That's why I have moved away from shows and and do more cruises now. I may do 1 or 2 shows a year. Unless I was trying to win "Best of Show" there really isn't a reason to pay $20 for an $8 Top 75/100 trophy. I mean is that really something to spend 8 hours of my time doing? Nah... Not for me... I could tune a couple cars in that same time and make $700. Hmm.......

Dairy Queen in La Grange is supposed to have cruise tonight. I may swing by after dinner.

Dairy Queen cruise was packed. I couldn't even find a place to park. Had to turn around and head back to the house.
