2012 Corvettes Conquer Cancer 2nd Annual Show - October 27th
Attention all Covette Clubs within driving distance of Huntsville Alabama!
It's time to mark your calendars and get the word out about this great upcoming event. Huntsville based Vets with Vettes and Corvette owners is teaming up with Ben Labaree (Corvettes Conquer Cancer) and the American Cancer Society to host this important fund raiser.
This annual event is timed to coincide with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, with this year's show being held on 27 Oct at Landers McLarty Chevrolet in Huntsville, AL, (4930 University Drive NW, Huntsville). The hours of the show will be from 12pm-4pm with registration closing at 2:30. We decided that having an afternoon show would allow more people from out of town more time to arrive.
We have Participants Choice trophies for each Corvette generation and an overall trophy to the Corvette Club with the most participation.
Registration will be a $25 donation to the American Cancer Society.
For those of you traveling from out of town, you might want to consider staying overnight. Holiday Inn at Madison Mall is offering $89 + tax rates to all who reference "Corvettes Conquer Cancer" when registering. Their phone number is 800-830-0600. It's about 3 minutes from the event location.
You can find out more about Ben Labaree and his great cause at: http://corvettesconquercancer.com
The show flyer is available for download at our website along with information about our club: http://www.vetswithvettes.us
