I have a 74' and reside in Metairie. Looking for others owners that may want to hang out and bs corvette stuff. I remember the days of hitting the lake front and cruising. Would be a great place to meet and hang out.

There is a Group of us that hangout across from Landry's on Sundays. We are known as the LPG. Usually get there about 4 pm. It can get wild , but that why we're there.

I have a black C6 09 , most of us have black C6's . Just look for a group of senior citizens by the handicap parking.

Bayou State Corvette Club Corvette Show Oct 25th


The Bayou State Corvette Club is having a Corvette Show to coincide with the club's 25 Anniversary on Oct 25th at Cajun Harley Davidson located just off I-10 in Scott, LA. The registration form can be found here:

We are hoping to have over 100 cars show up. Our charity this year is New Hope Community Development, which is a program that tutors at risk kids after school to help them become successful.

If anyone is interested, some other Corvette owners and I have been having our own Coffee and Cars in Lafayette, Louisiana, pretty much every Saturday. There was a group here doing one every other month and was open to all makes, but they haven't met for quite a while. Send me a message if interested. We have been meeting at Johnston Street Java, but have considered changing locations.

It's been awhile since I have been out there. Parking has been difficult with all the restaurant customers . What's left is young and rowdy. I must be getting old.
