Sunday, August 31 2014 There are a few Yellow Corvettes getting together to run down to Key West from the Ft. Lauderdale area.
We are meeting at 6:30 AM will be leaving by 7:00 AM from the Sawgrass Mills Best Buy parking area.
So all Yellow Corvettes that have nothing to do in South Florida that day, COME ON Down !!
Other COLOR Corvettes are invited also.
A full tank of gas from the meeting area might due for some guys, but this is easy a 350 mile round trip. Whoever wants to spend the night in Key West, have at it. Most of us will book back Sunday evening after the Sunset at Mallory Square.
PM me who is coming, we have had up to 20 Vettes on other runs like this. Had one in Santa Cruz CA that had 153 Corvettes on a similar drive along Pacific Coast Highway, but this drive is also nice.

Repost: We have already made arrangements to have breakfast at the Key Largo Conch House because of the parking lot size some people will keep heading south after breakfast. Whatever y'all want to do. I few of us will keep going south after breakfast.

We have 7 so far and you are welcome to join us. There is nothing better than seeing the looks on pedestrians faces when 20 or thirty Corvettes pass them in a group.

Yes this is open to all Vettes, not just Yellow. It nay be easier to just come over to the Sawgrass Mall Best Buy so you don't miss us. But come along.

Have you planned a rest stop about mid-way? Being a old man, that's about as far as I can go in the morning. I find it best to have a plan.

When we meet Sunday morning just suggest a stop otherwise we can stop in Homestead/Florida City before we start that long haul to Key Largo.

Me and another forum member will be joining the caravan at the Bird Road entrance on to the Turnpike. just need to get someones contact info so they can text me when they leave Lauderdale. We stay just west of the turnpike in that area.
