Default Sarasota/Tampa area radar detector hard wire installer?

Does anyone have any experience/recommendations in the Sarasota/Tampa area to have my radar detector hard wired?

Sarasota Best Buy did my last 3 C6 hard wires, but they only had to run down to the passenger foot well to get to the fuse box.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Jeff

A no brainer!!!! Get the battery one, no wires. Need item specifics, let me know. Mine works GREAT if you install the best batteries you can to last longer.

Thanks for the info on Powertech!

On the no brainer/batteries, I'll stick with my Valentine V1. I have a Blendmount on the way and just need the power wire run.

Thanks for the replies,
Jeff

Does the C7 not have an OnStar plug on the mirror? The C6 is easy to tap into the OnStar power.

Nope, apparently the C7 has an issue with pulling the power from there.

Try these folks: www.autoxtc.com They are excellent for just about any non-engine custom work on your vette.

Best places to pull C7 power is really in the back.. When we do all of the Alky Control kits for the supercharged/turbocharged C7's that is where we get it from. It's a brand new car, no reason to add scotch locks, or trial and error. Give us a call if you need it taken care of properly, 15+ years on C5/C6 and now C7's.
