Florida automobile insurance
Hello forum members, I have a 2015 DSOM Z51, can someone let me know if it is expensive to insure the stingray in Florida.
Would it be more than New York State.
The car has to be insured in the state it is registered , thank you , Tony

You will be paying $1000 - $1400 every 6 months depending on type of coverage.
You could do the Corvette Museum, but that has restrictions , but the price would be less than 900 a year.

Sorry but is a South Florida thing.
Miami Dade/Broward/Palm Beach County ALL have the higher rates.
I do not know about Orange county (Orlando area) or the west coast of Florida.
He lives in Delray Beach and that is part of Palm Beach County.
A lot of the quotes here in South Florida have a high deductible and also a lower liability etc... so do your homework well.
I would leave the NY plates on, you might get away with just leaving the rear NY plate only and carry the front plate in the car just in case.
Since the police is not looking for a front plate and you are here in Florida having just the rear NY plate should be fine. Now once you go back to NY you will need to put your front plate on.

you do know you can get a price quote from the insurance companies directly? Would be the most accurate source.
I insure two Corvettes and it's feasible. The C7 costs a little bit more than the C6 for me to insure. Same deductibles/limits
