2015 Corvettes on the Circle - St. Armands/Sarasota Florida
Registration for the 2015 Corvettes on the Circle in beautiful, St. Armands Circle, Sarasota, Fl on Saturday, May 2, 2015 is now open.
This is the 19th year that Skyway Corvette Club has hosted this show and we're expecting another great event to showcase and share our Corvette passion while donating the proceeds of the show to the Honor Flight Network.
Plus, we're working on some extra surprises as well...
Links to the registration form as well as more information on the Honor Flight Network are below.

March 1st bump. We already have close to 100 cars registered and we close at 150. Should be another great show!

Thank you for the compliment. I agree it's a great show and as Show Chairman this year, it's my goal to make it even better. (See below).
Sorry you're going to miss the show, but you obviously have your priorities in order. Congratulations!
Mid-March Update:
The show is filling up fast with only about 40 reservations left. As mentioned in the first post, we try to improve the show every year so we have some new items on the agenda that I hope to announce soon.
However, for you trophy hunters out there, I think we've knocked it out of the park for this year's show as we wanted to add some local "flavor" to the show and have the trophies represent something unique about St. Armands Circle and Sarasota in general vs. typical glassware or plaques.
Any local resident or visitor to the Sarasota area will see the beautiful and iconic "Unconditional Surrender" statue prior to crossing the Ringling Bridge into St. Armands Circle. Most partipants in the show will also pass this statue on the way to registration unless they drive down from Longboat Key.
In order to better tie in this year's sponsored charity; The Honor Flight Network, we've decided to present "Unconditional Surrender" statues custom mounted to wooden bases for all class catagory winners. These trophies are 12" tall and weigh about 5 pounds and basically look and feel like an Oscar award.
For the "Best of Show" award, we have an 18" trophy statue (picture below) that will also be mounted to a wooden base. I hope whoever wins it doesn't have a bad back because it's pretty heavy!

Early April Update
We are less than one-month away and the show is almost full so please send in your registration if you are interested in participating and entering your car this year. We always hold back a few slots for day-of-show registrations, however those are not guaranteed and are on a first come, first serve basis.
Due to high demand, we've also secured a second block of hotel rooms with the reduced rate at the Lido Beach sponsoring hotel listed on the registration form. A show-specific area will be coned off at the hotel parking lot and will include access to a water hose/buckets for any pre-show extra detailing required.

This is a bit off topic but living in Venice Florida its hard to find skilled repair shops around especially for older corvettes. I have a C3 that I am considering having my rear differential rebuilt. I'm looking for some one in the area that knows the right way to rebuild this. I plan on pulling it out myself. Any suggestions on shops that can do this type of job correctly?

Regarding your C3, I know a few members of the Venice Corvette Club that I can introduce you to that may be able point you in the right direction. Also, our show would be a great place to mingle and discuss your rebuild with other Corvette owners from the area. Even if you don't enter a car in the show, it's a great opportunity to view some beautiful Corvettes and talk all things Corvette-related. I know there will be members of the Venice Corvette Club in attendance at our show so send me an IM if you're interested in an introduction.
As to the show, last reminder on the reduced rate hotel rooms on Lido Beach as the registration for those rooms ends this coming Thursday, April 16th. The registration for our show ends on Saturday, April 25th or one week before the show so please send in your registration forms asap if you are wanted to participate in the show as space is limited due to the park setting. We only have a few slots left and we are keeping a few day of show registrations reserved for those who beg, plead, cry and bribe us to enter the show at the last minute.
Edit: It appears our reduced rate, second block of rooms at the sponsoring Lido Beach hotel has already sold out and that the hotel has no more available rooms. As a result, below is a Trip Advisor link to neighboring hotels for those who wish to come in for the weekend. I hope this helps those traveling to the show and who have not yet booked a hotel.

April 15th Update:
Registration is now closed as we have reached the 150 car registration limit. We will try to honor the registrations we receive this week, however we have a capacity limit in the park.
We are looking forward to another great event and I encourage those who don't have a car registered to still visit the show and enjoy the many great Corvettes, great people, and beautiful St. Armand's Circle and Lido Beach.
I will post a recap with pictures after the show.

We had an absolutely beautiful, postcard perfect, SW Florida day weather-wise for our 19th Annual Corvettes on the Circle show yesterday at St. Armands Circle.
We had 160 cars in the show and it was truly an amazing day with all the proceeds going to the Honor Flight network.
We have many pictures to share and I encourage you to check out our Facebook page to the view the pictures and videos of the event.

We usually open registration right around the 1st of the year. I will be posting another show thread next year and we also have information on our club website and Facebook page.
Next year will be the 20th Anniversary of the show so we're looking forward to hosting another great event.
