[Misfits] Bradenton Race Ray Details
The rain delay make up day is upon us...plan to meet at Cracker Barrel at 8am, just off I75 at the exit for the track, just go right and right again at the light. We'll depart for the track from there :D
All those on the Tampa/St Pete Side we'll meet at 7:30 at the Sunshine Skyway tollbooth rest stop, depart at 7:40.....anyone near me, we meet at depart from the Publix at Gunn and Anderson.
There's grub and drinks at the Corvette Ranch, hosted by Jake and Brian of Corvette Concepts, following early morning race festivities :D Please bring a donation of $5 to help cover costs, we had a blast last time at their place and this should be no different  :D
I think it's $10 to watch and $20 to race. If you haven't noticed, the weather is really cooperating and should be great for racing. Come out to watch, come out to race, come out to hang.....but just come out, or you're gonna miss a great day of vettes and fun. Beginners are welcome as you'll have plenty of help

Mark - which exit is it? I will try to get up in time so I can bring Vetteweiser up. He gets in around 11:30 PM tonight. Hope to see you there :seeya

Hey guys!
Does anyone have an extra helmet to lend me or is it possible to rent one at the track?

I believe it's old exit 41, not sure of the new number. You'll have Bee Ridge (old 38), then Fruitville, then University and I think it's the one after that. Just look for SR64 East. See ya Saturday. :D

What's the story with the helmets? Full face? Will a bicycle helmet do?

I don't think a helmet is required unless you're under 13.00. BMP is fairly relaxed on tech. See ya'll there. :seeya :chevy

So what would happen to a fella if he had no clue what he was going to run then ran a 12.99?

I was running low 14s and they didn't say anything to me...The guy at the time slip shack said once I got into the 13s I should get one.

It's the same for guys who run 10's without a roll cage. You might get
in one run, and then you're done. "On and Gone".
