Default Looking for Local or Independent Mechanic in Charlotte Area

Hey guys,

I am looking to have SS brake lines installed along with new pads and rotors installed. I also want to have the serpentine belt and AC belt replaced. The dealers in my area want to charge a hefty fee along with refusing to install customer supplied parts. Do you guys know of anyone in the Charlotte area or close by (within 2 hours) that you could recommend that would be more reasonable? Thanks!

Default local Corvette mechanic

I recommend Hughes Automotive on Harrisburg Road. After getting burned by 2-3 area Chevrolet dealerships, Hughes is the only place I take my '65 and '04. As the owner, Glenn, told me, their business with family cars pays the bills so working on muscle cars & sports cars keeps the job interesting.

Adam at aquadale speed shop does all my work. He has a website and facebook page. Great work & reasonable price. He also owns a C-5 Vette,
So he's very familiar with them.
