Default urgent help needed - Performance shop in Miramar/Pines/Ft Lauderdale area?

anyone know a decent performance shop in the Miramar/Pines/Ft Lauderdale area?…i have an issue with rpm's dropping (seems to be at lower speeds when i release the clutch and put it back into neutral) but overall its not running optimal from the sounds of it…i have i/c/h along with a tune, but the awesome guys that worked on my car are in tx, and im in fl…its been running perfect for over 8-10 months so im certain it has nothing to do with any of that (i daily drive my c6 and track it so im sure something would have happened by now)…they set my rpm's to idle around 900-925 but even now its bouncing between 825 or so and 925…when it drops, it goes all the way down to about 200 and struggles to bounce back up…its already shut off on me once at a light so im trying to avoid that from happening again

any immediate help would be greatly appreciated!! chevy wont even bother diagnosing my car due to the mods…

Redline did my car also. He's a "typical New Yorker" in attitude but does good work. I have no complaints. I would, and may use them again in the future without hesitation.

I had them do a cam, WCCH head swap and a tune. Car runs like a freaking monster.

?? What the hell does that mean "Typical New Yorker" ? He's a very consensus business owner who gives a crap about his name, work and shop. I just had work done there this week and was refreshed and very happy with his shop. Came highly recommended. Clean and professional, very straight forward, and treats your car like it should be. Great work and not a scratch, or smudge on my car. Not like most of the Floridiot bang up shops I have come across, with lots of excuses, poor work, dirty, and banging up your car. I actually thought he was understated, they have some resume' of past projects, and work.

Calm down, it's not an insult, just a description of his personality.

His shop is top-notch, clean and very professional. You could eat off of his floors in there. I've referred him quite a few times and will continue to.

Default More advice?

I just need my car, with relatively mild cam (224I - 228Ex - 114LSA - 0.590"Lift) and high-compression heads, re-tuned for better driveability between 1400 rpm and 2200 rpm in the lower gears, around town. The wide-open throttle and high rpm performance and behavior are just fine.

Any experiences - restricted to just tuning - with Redline would be appreciated. Send me a PM if you do not want to post in public.

Thanx, Lee

Happy Mothers Day...

We aren't for everybody... We don't sugar coat things.. It's a mans sport and we take it serious. Of course people can't deal with some of our NYer attitude but it's better then the ******** that exists down here.. Three years in and have the place figure out..

Usually if someone had a problem it's because they brought it out.. We bend over quite a bit to accommodate and not kill people on costs and give them what we say..

I think our "track" record speaks for itself..

If we can be of assistance please reach out to us Monday...

Thank you

HT (the NYer)

You will be very happy at Redline. I just had work done there along with my friend. Straightforward, professional, clean, knowledgable. The work came out perfect as agreed.
Very important to me is your car is treated right. I mean cosmetically. It is not treated like a junkyard track car like most shops! Not a fingerprint on my car….and I looked trust me!

Where your from has nothing to do with a business. How it is run and performs does. If that takes a concensius Nyr here, so be it.
So many shops want to get you in the door with hopes and sugar coating. Redline will be more upfront: if its broke, it s broke, then how to go about fixing it and cost.

I definitely recommend them.
