FWIW, if you stay at the Fontana Inn bring you own chow. The chef there could use some cooking lessons. How can you screw up scrambled eggs?

221 is a fun ride, both directions. Wife hates it, but I have fun.

the best part of 221 is in between blowing rock and the entrance to grandfather mtn.

I've done The Dragon on my bike, but never in a car. Cant wait to get it ready and run it again.

Ran the Dragon this past Monday, the 5th, in my 72. Very beautiful and fun drive. I'm going back, because there so many other roads to drive up there. Truly one of this planets most beautiful spots.

I'm deciding to go this coming Monday or not but will go this month. I'll be doing skyway too. On the way back, I'm stopping at Cherokee casino.
