Best full service restoration shop in NC
I have a 79 corvette project from hell, that I want to finally end.
Can someone recommend a good restoration shop to fix this mess?
Thanks...

ST Restoration in New Bern, NC.
Jim Boyd (one of the owners) is a Corvette specialist. We built a lot of engines for his shop back in the 1990's and early 2000's. Jim's a good guy that does good work.

Dub at Corvettes Etc. In Charlotte.
He's done quite few of these in the area. ALL he does. Some members in our club have had their cars restored by him and they ALL win trophies and awards wherever they go.

I've also heard good things about Dub at Corvettes Etc (second-hand). MBV European on Old Pineville Road in Charlotte is also a possible source for you. The owner (Gary Katzman) is a Corvette owner and very accomplished at vette restoration. Over the course of several visits to his shop (he's a member of my Corvette club), I watched his progress on the restoration of a '67 blue roadster. It went from an ugly daily driver to a real beauty.

Thanks for the recommendations, I reached out to each of these shops. Procket which club are you a member of in Charlotte? I am wanting to join one if we finish the project.

I'm a member of Generations Corvette Club. Take a look at our website to see if you'd like to join us at any of our events and meet the other members.
