I'm taking the C6 to race there in January again this year. Should be a fun day watching other cars go all out for double the distance of a quarter mile down the runway at Jumbolair Airport in Ocala.

You'll see some of the fastest cars around from Youtube at this event. AMS will be there. Underground Racing will be there.

Any other Vette guys running their car? Any others in the general area up for road tripping up that way. The event is both Saturday and Sunday although I'll only be going on Saturday to race. I'll likely leave early but I'm down for a nice caravan out from the event maybe to go somewhere for dinner and a drink.

I'll be there Sunday to spectate. Won't be driving the Vette though. Spectator parking is a lumpy grass pasture across the street! Beware if your riding low.

It's a the dealer right now, it was supposed to be painted yesterday, said they would be done on the 15th. FSP then has a week to:

Install F1X
Install LME heads
Install LME intake
Install injectors
Install mantic triple clutch
Install Pfadt coil overs
Install Dewitt's radiator
Then tune the car



FSP had the car for 2 weeks beginning of December, the clutch and coil overs were supposed to have been done then. Matt said it was a lot easier to get to the clutch if the heads were removed but we didn't have them yet, so nothing was done to the car. I'm really not sure on the status of all of the parts it's hard to get a solid answer sometimes...

I was signed up for Sunday to race but ended up having to bail to go to a friends wedding. Maybe next year.
