Running a roadcourse is fantastic fun!! As mentioned, if you're not an experienced track driver you'll have an instructor - and learning to handle your car up toward its real capabilities can really help in bad situations in street driving that may call for handling the car at its limits.

And, if you want the "go as fast as want" part, there's no track better than Daytona!! Here's a link to a thread in the AutoX/Roadrace section of the forum with info about running the Rolex 24 roadcourse at Daytona in April:
