Tire Shop Recommendation - Sarasota FL Area
Looking for a good shop to mount and re-mount tires. I plan to remove the wheels from the car and bring them in for tire removal and remounting and would like a recommendation for a shop with the right equipment and skilled technicians who know how to work with low-profile tires and larger, finished wheels.
Thanks!
Thanks!

my last 2 sets were done by Joe at Powertech Perfomance in St Pete...aside from that I had Craig from Pit Crew Tire come to my house....not sure if he is still doing it or not.

Sorry, I'm on the other side of the state. Over here, the local Discount Tire stores have always done a good job, I'm personal friends with the ones that own vettes and work there.
I had a slow leak that turned out to be a cracked rim, and the manager loaned me one of his Z06 rims for a couple days, until my replacement rim came in. No charge for all of the tire swapping and balancing either. That's my definition of first class service

My favorite story is when my friend dropped his (then) new C6Z off for an alignment and re-balancing after lowering and installing some new wheels. He dropped off the car as there was a 4-hour work window and the shop called him and told him the car would be ready in 30 minutes as they were testing the alignment. So he he headed over to the shop with his wife in their SUV. About 2 miles from the shop he saw his C6Z heading towards him going about 25+ MPH over the speed limit and then blowing a stop light. Turns out that was the "alignment test" by the techs.
