I guess that you know about the NCM HPDE at VIR June 27-28. It's a premier event that I never miss!!

Also, I know the Museum's Motorsports Park isn't in your backyard, but there are HPDE's April 28-29 (in conjunction with the Bash) and Sep 27-28. The NCM Motorsports Park across the interstate from the Museum is a FANTASTIC track!!!
