Rutherford County Corvettes is proud to announce the date for the 2016 Corvettes For Vets. It will be held on Saturday May 14, 2016 at beautiful McNair Field in Forest City NC. This is our 4th year to host this event and it has gotten bigger and better every year.
This years event it no different. There will be awards for each generation, 3 live bands, lots of vendors, great food concessions all in honor of our military. 100% of the show proceeds will go to Purple Heart Homes.
This is an all community event drawing hundreds of spectators as well as hundreds of Corvettes. Make your plans now to join us. If you plan on stayingthe weekend, call our host hotel, Baymont Inn and Suites in Forest City, ask for our special Corvette rate.
Registration is 9am till noon, awards promptly at three.

May 2 update. Our host hotel is full. We have a meeting this morning with Holiday Inn Express to to to get a discounted Corvette show rate, I'll let you know how that goes. Our pre registration is still open, this will save you $5 and get you out of the long lines waiting to register. We have had to add a third blood bus to accommodate all the donation pledges, the blood drive is in honor of a local 27 year old mother of one and expecting now as she battles stage 4 breast cancer and a young boy tragically seriously injured in a hunting accident.
Very unique awards for all 7 generations, probably unlike anything you've ever seen. Live music, lots of local vendors, National Corvette Museum in attendance with the traveling museum store. 100% of proceeds and donations goes to Purple Heart Homes to aid our combat wounded veterans as they transition back to their homes. All of the proceeds from our show will go to one young mother that was wounded in a suicide bomber attack and she will be in attendance for you to meet.
