Default Good roads to drive in Memphis?

I recently moved to Memphis, Tennessee, from Atlanta. I am still trying to find any good roads (i.e., curves without too many potholes) to drive in the greater Memphis area, including outside of town, northern Miss or Eastern Ark. Would like to find some roads not two hours away.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

Welcome to the city. I've lived here most of my life and there really aren't any great roads in the area. I'd drive over to Hot Springs Arkansas to find some more scenic or curvy roads, but it is further away. If you just want a leisurely drive I'd head out Macon road east towards Macon or raleigh Lagrange. The roads in Shelby Forrest are also fun to drive on, but none of these roads will you to enjoy the capabilities of your Z06. If you like quarter mile fun the Memphis international raceway has a good track.

If you drive in the city make sure you've got a 9mm and plenty of ammo!

Go east to Mt. Juliet and look up DixieVet. Maybe he'll throw down some BBQ for you!

I'd suggest the road that leads out of town.
