New Orleans - Need a C2 Pre Purchase Inspection... any help?
Hey Guys
I need a pre-purchase inspection for a car in "New Orleans". We believe its an X396 car, but currently has a 327.
It doesn't need to be a NCRS inspection, just check for obvious issues relating to Frame/Birdcage any damage to fiberglass, and quality of repair...
The paint is 30 years old... so I am not worried about that... just the underlying condition and how solid it is now.
Any help would be appreciated... if you know somebody in the area, PM me!
Thanks

Contact the folks at the Great New Orleans Corvette Club, they are good folks, knowledgeable folks, they might could help or hook you up with someone.
Or you might can try Mike Poupart, owner of Bowtie Automotive in Kenner (N.O. suburb) @ 504-472-0400, he's real big into and races Vettes. As matter of fact, he currently is trying to sell a '65 Convertable 327 ALOT like the one you have pictured....its on his facebook page.
do a facebook search for Bowtie Automotive/Mike Poupart Motorsports.

LarryMow is correct. GNOCC might be a good resource.
Or, Crescent City Corvette Club

Might even try LA NCRS. They're a very nice group.
