I posted this in the AutoX/Roadrace section, but thought I should put it here as well - so, if you might want to attend the Corvette Corral next Jan give them a call before they're completely sold out.

I have attended the Corvette Corral at the Rolex 24 here in Daytona for a number of years now, and I got a renewal notice for registration in the mail today.

I believe for the past couple years it has been a sell-out event, and if you hadn't attended in the past you didn't get an early "renewal" notice like I just got, and they never even made any general attendance sales available because it got sold out real early.

If you have any interest to attend next Jan, and would drive down in your Vette, call 800-748-7467 and see if you can register, or if this early registration is just for renewals - I would bet they will take first-come-first-served.

It costs $260 and that includes infield parking for a Vette and 4 days of attendance for 2 people at the track for practice/qualifying/racing/Corvette hospitality tent, garage access, etc.

So....if you haven't attended in the past, your only chance to maybe get a ticket is to try and see if they will sell to you early before registration is completely filled up!!

Sorry, but they won't. It is only open to those who got tickets this year. So if anyone ends up with tickets please let me know. They will open it up to the general public in June.

As far as June, I'd call them EARLY in June - this thing sells out quick!!

I think it is June 20th. There are not that many tickets available to begin with. The NCM will have an event so some people can get tickets by going on their event tour. I will try myself but not expecting to get the tickets. It is too bad it isn't more like Sebring or Petit where they have more tickets.
