Looking for things to do in the Daytona Beach and Orlando area over the next week and 1/2 or so.
Plan on hitting cars and coffee Saturday morning in Celebration.
We know of the major tourist attractions like Disney, Universal & Old town.
What else would you folks suggest - open to automotive and non automotive activities?

I plan to attend the Cars & Coffee if I can get up early enough for the 75 mile drive from Daytona down to Celebration!! I think it runs from 8:00AM to 10:00AM!!

Look for my Laguna Blue C7 if I make it.

I can't tell you anything about the attractions like DW or Univ.

However, there's the Space Center Visitor Center over on the coast.

Up here in Daytona there's a tour of the Speedway.

There are no good track events coming up at the Speedway until forum member Henry Gilbert's Performance Driving Group HPDE Sep 30-Oct 2.

5/14 there is a free dyno day at Brother's Performance in Deland. The same night is the Canal St Cruise in New Smyrna Beach. Friday nights there is a cruise in Deland as well. For interesting things to do you could check out Deleon Springs. They have a pancake house where you cook your food on a griddle at your table and offer wildlife tours on the river. My advice is to get there early and go on a weekday if possible. It fills up fast and there is no AC in the restaurant. The earlier you are the better because it is still relatively cool.
