Charlotte NC - Convertible Top Installer?
Can anyone recommend a convertible top installer in the Charlotte area?
I'm located in Huntersville and looking to order a replacement top from Topsonline.com but first I'd like to locate an good installer.
thanks!

Give Dub from Corvettes etc. a call he's over near the Charlotte Douglas airport 704 394-5150. He is an absolute perfectionist and very knowledgeable. You won't be disappointed!

I went to Dubs shop today and talked to him. Nice guy. He's never done a C5 top install, said he was trying to gather detailed info from others before taking on a job.
He also would not just re-fasten the window of the top per his rules. Looks like I'm gonna have to re-fasten the window again, my third time! Using Rhino Glue lasts about 4 years. OO of a 2000 vert...
Any other recommendations for a Top installer?

I'm not aware of another installer. Did Dub have any recommendations? He's definitely not the type of guy who would "wing it" by any means! Someone told me when I was getting my C3 interior done if you want it done right, bring it to Dub, if you want it done fast, don't bring it to Dub. Hopefully you find someone. Good luck

This is what I did when I needed my C4 top replaced.
I went to Chevrolet dealership and ask there service dept who they farm out there interior and convertibles, cause you know there not done in the dealership.
Then I went to there shop and checked them out, first thing I look is out neat the place looks like and how many tops have they replaced. I had my shop order me the top along with headliner. There price was cheaper then anybody website or corvette catalog.
